Composed spontaneously in 1987 at the isolated holy place of Mount Wutai, The Heart Essence: My Heart’s Advice is one of H.H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche’s most important works. In only 23 verses, it summarizes the entire Buddhist path from the most basic instructions all the way to the Great Perfection, the peak of all practices.
